Job Description:
We are looking for construction estimator responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors like labor needs, materials, budgets and potential setbacks. The duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks or compile reports and making presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects.Responsibilities:
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project- Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
- Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
- Creating labor estimates for any project
- Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Managing bids from vendors and contractors
- Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
- Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders
- Compiling and recording actual costs

Requirements:
MAs a supervisory position, Construction Superintendent candidates should have years of previous experience in the construction industry. Previous managerial experience on a construction team is also beneficial. Many candidates have worked in construction as Construction Workers, Designers, Engineers, Planners or in other capacities. Also, having professional certifications, including Certified Construction Manager or Certified Professional Constructor. Safety and heavy machinery operations training and certifications. (Bilingual is a plus).

Answer phones and greet clients, vendors and subcontractors.

Schedule appointments for construction inspections, execution of contracts, meetings with clients, etc.

Schedule and coordinate staff, support management and field team in project logistics.

Collate and distribute mail

Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence

Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents

Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical

Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
Requirements:
A successful Admin Assistant candidate will have various prerequisite skills such as a high level organizational, administrative and clerical skills, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a basic knowledge of the construction industry, knowledge in Microsoft Office, database spreadsheet, and ability to accurately transcribe messages and record client information, ability to use scheduling software and workflow programs, including outlook, and insurance platforms, knowledge of Human Resources procedures, such as payroll, and keep employee’s records.
